The ICECUBE_DP++TX PHY is a VESA Dual-mode DisplayPort (DisplayPort++) Transmitter

DP++ is a standard for transmission of digital audio/video (A/V) signals from different audiovisual sources to television sets, projectors and other video displays.

It can carry all standard and high-definition consumer electronics video formats as well as high quality multi-channel audio data.

DP++ can also carry control and status information in both directions. The ICECUBE_DP++TX PHY is embedded in SoC’s that require transmission of high-speed audiovisual data following the HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 standards.
