IP Cores

Noise Quencher® Low Dropout (LDO) Voltage Regulators

Vidatronic’s low dropout (LDO) voltage regulators, using our patented Noise Quencher® technology, are optimized to provide the best-in-class output voltage accuracy, noise attenuation, and dynamic performance without requiring output capacitance. Our line of “capless” LDOs gives customers the ability to remove the need for load capacitance on the board entirely (thus saving board space and cost), but can also support any output load capacitance, making them ideal for PMIC and SOC integration (since they work with any load). This versatility, combined with their excellent performance, makes these LDOs unrivaled by any LDOs in the industry.

Power Quencher™ Low Dropout (LDO) Voltage Regulators

Vidatronic’s low dropout (LDO) voltage regulators, using our patent-pending Power Quencher™ technology, are a very low power family of LDOs optimized to reduce the quiescent current of the chip to incredibly low levels. These LDOs provide very good output voltage stability and accuracy, making this architecture ideal for applications where size, output voltage accuracy, and noise immunity are of concern and especially for Internet of Things (IoT) and wearable applications.

DC-DC Switching Converters

Vidatronic’s switching converter IP cores have been optimized for application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), system-on-chip (SOC), and microprocessor applications that require high power efficiency without compromising the quality of the output voltage signal. Our switching “buck” converters include a bandgap reference, interface, ESD, temperature sensor, and soft-start/stop functions for a self-contained voltage regulator. With greater than 90% maximum power efficiency and minimal output ripples, these are ideal for most power management needs.

Foundation IP Collection

This collection is a set of intellectual property (IP) blocks that represents the basis for most power management solutions. Included in the Foundation IP Collection are voltage references, temperature sensors, oscillators and supply monitors. The Foundation IP can be purchased as a full collection or in individual pieces. By offering these different basic elements, we can help decrease our customers’ time to market while still ensuring products with excellent quality and performance.
