During a working session with Secretary of Bac Ninh’s Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan on September 12, Amkor Technology management highlighted the company’s success in securing partnerships and exporting its first batch of semiconductors. The facility currently employs over 1,060 workers, with a strong focus on training and developing Vietnamese talent.
Amkor Technology is committed to fostering a robust semiconductor ecosystem in Bac Ninh. The company plans to collaborate with local authorities to develop infrastructure, including a shortcut to the facility and a residential area for its workers.
Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan expressed his strong support for Amkor Technology’s initiatives, stating that the province will prioritize the construction of the shortcut and worker housing. He also acknowledged the importance of Amkor Technology’s commitment to human resource development and its contribution to Vietnam’s integration into the global semiconductor supply chain.
