Job Description:

ForwardEdge ASIC, a Lockheed Martin company, is looking for mid-level Analog Design Engineers with 3-12 years of experience to enhance domestic ASIC capabilities in St. Paul, MN. The role involves designing innovative microelectronics solutions for commercial, defense, and security customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop analog mixed-signal circuit blocks for IP development and ASIC/ASSP designs.
  • Participate in system-level and block-level IC design activities, including architecture definition, circuit design, schematic capture, and simulation.
  • Document analog design blocks and collaborate with engineers to define, conduct tests, and analyze measurement data.
  • Work with advanced CMOS technologies, including FinFet technology.
  • Apply low power and high-speed design techniques to circuit design.
  • Utilize standard IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Virtuoso, and Spice.
  • Assist in the validation of circuit design through lab skills.
  • Mentor and supervise junior engineers.

Qualifications:

  • 3-12 years of circuit design experience in analog/mixed-signal CMOS circuits in deep sub-micron technologies (5 – 40 nm).
  • Experience with high-speed I/O cell designs and power delivery circuits.
  • Strong knowledge in AMS design, Advanced CMOS, and FinFet technologies.
  • Understanding of mismatch analysis, Monte-Carlo methodology/sims, and transistor-level noise analysis.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Cadence ADE, Spectre, and MATLAB.
