Job Description:
Qualcomm Atheros, Inc. is a leading provider of wireless and wired technologies, focusing on innovative solutions for mobile, networking, computing, and consumer electronics markets. The company is seeking candidates for roles in ASIC engineering, specifically for the development of advanced system architectures and RF/Analog systems.
Responsibilities:
- Implement optimum system architectures and interfaces for connectivity RF/Analog systems.
- Participate in the development of cutting-edge ASICs for multi-function mobile platforms.
- Develop unit-level and integrated-level test benches in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Assist in synthesis and gate-level simulation tasks related to assigned modules.
- Support timing analysis for the entire chip.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR
- Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 1+ year of relevant experience; OR
- PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
Skills:
- RTL Design
- ASIC front-end experience
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Perl or Python)
- Familiarity with wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and RF transceiver technologies.
