Job Description:
The ASIC Engineer at Nextivity is responsible for designing ASIC and FPGA components for Cel-Fi products, collaborating with various engineering teams to ensure successful architecture and system validation. This role involves supporting ASIC/FPGA development efforts, including synthesis, timing constraints, and low-level testing on prototyping platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Verification and validation of ASIC and FPGA for Cel-Fi products.
- Support cross-functional teams during product development.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues early in the process.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of ASIC/FPGA design experience.
- Proven track record of successful ASIC tape-outs, preferably as a technical chip leader.
- Experience with multiple FPGA designs for prototyping and products.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Skills:
- Proficient in System Verilog and scripting languages (Perl, awk, sed).
- Experience with GIT version control and Cadence tools (simulator, linter, code coverage).
- Familiarity with Intel FPGA tools (Quartus) and ASIC timing analysis tools (Prime Time).
- Basic knowledge of C for writing test code for validation.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
