ASIC Engineer, Infra Silicon Pre/Post Silicon Validation

Job Description:

Meta is seeking experienced ASIC Engineers to join its Infrastructure organization, focusing on Pre/Post Silicon Validation for data center applications. The role involves working within the Infra Silicon Enablement team to develop and support innovative ASIC solutions, contributing to the entire silicon lifecycle from architecture to deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver reliable and performant silicon solutions across all aspects of the silicon lifecycle.
  • Create and develop validation plans, tests, and automation tools for silicon validation and productization.
  • Enhance silicon validation by understanding production system use cases.
  • Provide feedback for next-generation architecture and design based on insights from the production fleet.
  • Root-cause and resolve issues with silicon throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead end-to-end silicon validation efforts, including strategy, planning, execution, and post-silicon enablement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with ASIC development cycles and Pre/Post Silicon Validation.
  • 6+ years of experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and analytics for silicon products.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with ASIC Design or Development, Emulation, and Post Silicon validation.
  • Familiarity with internal and external partnerships for ASIC and systems development.
