Developer

Ericsson Inc. is seeking a Developer (ASIC) in Austin, TX, to design and verify electronic components for telecommunications products. This role offers a hybrid work policy and involves collaboration with various stakeholders to develop advanced electronics and software for mobile telecommunication systems, including 5G and 6G.

Responsibilities:

• Develop advanced electronics, software, and models for mobile telecommunication systems.
• Make complex design tradeoffs independently and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including ASIC design teams.
• Utilize EDA tools and methodologies for Digital ASIC and SoC development and verification.
• Perform modeling, RTL design, verification, integration, synthesis, and hardware validation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 5 years of industry experience in ASIC Development, or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience.

Skills:

• Experience in CPU micro-architecture, multi-core systems, and memory hierarchies.
• Proficiency in integrating RTL code to meet internal and industry standards.
• Experience with pre-silicon debug and testing RTL in block and chip-level environments.
• Familiarity with emulation, simulation, and verification tools like Synopsys VCS or Cadence Xcelium.
• Knowledge of end-to-end ASIC design flow, including front-end and back-end processes.
