We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented engineer to join our project team, focusing on the specification, design, development, and testing of hardware. This role involves collaborating with various engineering disciplines to ensure successful product testing and release to manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in a project team for hardware specification, design, development, and testing.
• Define unit and system level test processes and procedures.
• Perform complex system level unit and integration tests.
• Debug and mitigate complex system level issues.
• Collaborate with hardware design, software/diagnostic, and manufacturing test engineers to develop product test strategies.
• Leverage automation to implement test strategies and improve productivity.
• Document test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Assist with root cause analysis of field issues and support customer escalations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (BSEE/CE) with 0-1 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical test and measurement equipment.

Skills:

• Excellent hardware debugging and script development/debugging skills.
• Ability to apply networking principles and theories to product testing.
• Understanding of fiber optics and Ethernet cable plant infrastructure.
• Sound troubleshooting and diagnostic methodology.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated to work in a lab environment.
• Ability to plan and execute projects effectively.
• Quick learner, adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
• Independent thinking with a 'can do' attitude.
