Job Description:

We are looking for a talented RF, Analog, and Mixed Signal Engineer to join our engineering team, focusing on silicon development for cellular transceivers. This role is crucial for creating innovative and efficient designs that enhance user experiences, impacting millions of customers globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide RF solutions for cellular transceiver chips.
  • Collaborate with platform architects and digital design teams to define RF and baseband block requirements.
  • Work with the technology team on process selection for target devices.
  • Conduct transistor-level feasibility studies of RF/mixed-signal circuit blocks.
  • Design component blocks within RF transceivers, including LNA, upconverters/downconverters, baseband filters, VGAs, LO/PLL circuits, and more.
  • Coordinate with the mask design team to implement layout views of designs.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Direct experience in designing and mass-producing integrated cellular RF transceivers in deep sub-micron RF CMOS technology.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical abilities and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Collaboration with multi-functional teams to define system architecture.
  • Deep understanding of RF CMOS fundamentals and building blocks like LNAs, mixers, and PLLs.
  • Experience with digital TX or analog/digital/sampling PLL circuits is a plus.
  • Knowledge of RF device modeling and circuit layout for optimal RF performance.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Cadence/Virtuoso, Spectre, AMS, and ADS.
  • Bring-up and debugging skills, with experience in test plan development.
