Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior FPGA Development Engineer to develop high-speed digital logic and scalable FPGA systems. This role is based in Arlington, VA, as part of Amazon's significant investment in the area, which aims to create 25,000 new jobs. The position requires a US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom RTL and integrate with third-party libraries for 100G+ solutions.
- Collaborate with design and system engineers to architect new solutions.
- Own the interface between software and hardware by developing drivers and software examples.
- Lead design meetings for development planning and peer design reviews.
- Identify new opportunities and technologies to enhance customer experience.
Qualifications:
- US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Skills:
- Experience with FPGA development and programmable logic.
- Proficiency in RTL design and integration.
- Strong collaboration skills with hardware and software teams.
- Ability to debug RTL in simulation and on hardware targets.
- Knowledge of software-hardware interface development.
