We are seeking a skilled engineer with expertise in MCU and FPGA embedded firmware design, particularly with Atmel ARM type MCUs such as SAM4E8 and SAME70. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming UART and USB interfaces for PC communication, as well as SPI interfaces for ADC and DAC integration. Proficiency in Altera Cyclone series FPGA programming is also essential. In addition, the role involves developing Windows automation software for device testing and calibration, requiring strong programming skills in C/C++ and Visual C++. Familiarity with RS-232, USB, and GPIB interfaces for instruments like tunable lasers and power meters is preferred. Candidates should also possess a solid background in electric hardware design, including analog and digital circuits, as well as experience with schematic and PCB layout, preferably using ORCAD.
