Job Description:
Annapurna Labs, a division of AWS, focuses on developing custom silicon and software for cloud computing, particularly in machine learning. The team, comprising experts in silicon engineering, hardware design, and software, is dedicated to innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions for AWS customers. The Senior Validation Engineer role involves validating the next generation of machine learning accelerators, ensuring high performance and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Validate chip and system architecture for machine learning acceleration products.
- Develop and execute validation plans in collaboration with design, software, and architecture teams.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and work with teams to resolve them.
- Support server lifecycle in data centers post-production ramp.
- Architect system validation strategies and methodologies for machine learning hardware.
- Evaluate and enhance performance of machine learning systems.
- Own validation schedules and report progress metrics.
- Mentor junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of programming experience in at least one software language.
- 5+ years of experience in system test development, code reviews, and automated deployments.
- Experience with Linux environments and Git.
- Experience with server hardware and debugging tools.
Skills:
- Experience with machine learning hardware/software architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
- Knowledge of EDA simulations or emulation.
