One under-discussed area in today’s technology revolution is chips, also known as semiconductors. Semiconductors are the unsexy, and the unsung heroes of every technology revolution that occurred since 1960. They are at the literal core of any laptop, smartphone, and tablet, but for that reason they remain largely hidden and invisible to the end user.
