BitSim NOW develops the electronics and software of tomorrow, with focus on: Glass-to-Glass Camera design, Imaging and Sensors for Machine Vision with ML/AI, Embedded Computing: – where electronics meets physics.
We use the major FPGA and SoC brands like: Xilinx/AMD, Altera, Lattice and Microchip, Nvidia and NXP. And sensors from Sony and OmniVision.
BitSim NOW also specializes in machine vision solutions, offering end-to-end services for quality control, precision and production efficiency. BitSim NOW’s Intelligent Vision Platform (IVP) integrates robotics and automation to deliver optimized, scalable and cost-effective production processes.
BitSim NOW develops the electronics and software of tomorrow, with focus on: Glass-to-Glass Camera design, Imaging and Sensors for Machine Vision, Embedded Computing – where electronics meets physics.
We’ve designed FPGAs since the 80s and we use all major brands were we also are partners.
We can offer front-end ASIC design services.
BitSim NOW develops advanced electronic products that require tailor-made hardware. The demands for real-time properties and reliability are often high. We do everything from providing expertise advice to total responsibility for a product development from idea to serial product.
We use different schematic capture tools, simulation tools and programming languages on a daily basis, all according to customer demands. We also do the PCB layout for some of our PCBs.
Within software we develop drivers, network programming, user interfaces (GUI) and technical solutions as industrial vision and communication applications. Real-time demands are common in our projects.
At BitSim NOW we develop software for demanding applications such as image processing, video distribution, signal processing, motor control, communication, measurement and calibration.
BitSim NOW has participated in the development of a number of cameras of different kinds. Line-scan cameras, IR- and NIR-cameras, film cameras, electron microscope cameras, lidar etc.
We offer customized Machine Vision solutions that help you optimize your processes and increase profitability. We combine classical and AI-driven Machine Vision (Deep Learning) with robotics to solve complex production and quality challenges.
A very compact CSI-2 cores using only 500 LUTs, BitCsi2Tx and BitCsi2Rx that provide a low-power and cost-effective solution for your camera application. The design is fully configurable and is aimed for any ASIC/FPGA with camera sensors supporting the CSI-2 standards. Our IP has been used with different SoC:s, like i.MX8-series (NXP), OMAP (TI), FPGAs (Xilinx, Altera, Lattice, Microsemi), Snapdragon (Qualcomm) and Xavier (Nvidia) for example.

To transfer the sensor data with a minimum of software or hardware, FLIR has developed the VoSPI protocol, an SPI based Video Interface. BitSim has developed an FPGA IP, Bit-VoSPI Rx, to receive the VoSPI data.er text.
To efficiently transfer large amounts of data and off-load the embedded processor, BitSim is offering its IP core, Bit-1G-UDP Ethernet.
This core offloads an embedded processor with the communication accelerated in the FPGA, with more than ~900+ Mb/s of effective data transfer rate. Standard functions for transmit, receive, ARP-handling, AXI-stream and loop back are included.
