Greenvity Communications

USA

Since 2011, Greenvity designed and produced many mixed-signal / wireless / wired chips for customers in electric vehicles, automotive, IoT, smart meter and smart energy management. We developed and owned multiple IP in powerline communication (PLC) and wireless communication chips. Our IP includes the complete solution of HomePlug Green PHY powerline communication (HPGP PLC) for electric vehicle charging system, ZigBee wireless chip for industrial IoT and smart energy management, Hybrid chip with integration of PLC and ZigBee, and the Sub-GigaHz RF transceiver (400Mhz – 1Ghz) for smart meter and industrial IoT.

Greenvity licenses our IP to semiconductor customers to save them time-to-market. We also provide turn-key ASIC design services from developing new chips or customize our licensed IP to meet customers’ specifications.

Our engineers have extensive experience and know-how in RF, analog and mixed-signal designs, baseband and MAC for wired/wireless chips, embedded ARM / RISC cores and firmware for SoC. We designed chips for many standards including WIFI, ZigBee, Ultra-Wideband (UWB), Sub-GigaHz and HPGP PLC.

IP Licensing

We license our IP to you to save you time and development cost. Our IP includes chips and functional blocks that have been proven working in silicon.

HomePlug Green PHY powerline communication (HPGP PLC): based on Combined Charging System (CCS) standard and ISO 15118 standard, for automotive, electric vehicles (EV), EV charging system and other industrial applications. This IP includes all functional blocks from Analog-Front End (AFE), Baseband, MAC, embedded ARM, and firmware.

ZigBee wireless (based on IEEE 802.15.4 2.4Ghz standard): smart home, smart meter, smart building/industrial, and smart energy management. This IP includes all functional blocks from RF, Baseband, MAC and firmware.

Sub-Gigahz RF (programmable 400Mhz – 1Ghz, support OFDM): smart city and smart meter.

Other RF and Mixed-Signal functional blocks including ADC, DAC, LNA and PA.

Mixed-Signal ASIC Design and Customization

Greenvity brings your ideas to chips as quickly as possible. With over 100 years of chip design experience collectively, we can design multiple functional blocks or the whole chip for you based on your specifications. Greenvity specializes in RF, mixed-signal, digital baseband and MAC, and also firmware for wireless and powerline communications.
