Job Description:
The ASIC IP Verification Infrastructure Engineer (Contractor) role in Austin, TX, focuses on maintaining and optimizing automation frameworks for design verification. This position requires independent work under a Technical Lead, managing compute/storage resources, and modernizing the environment with AI tools. Collaboration with global teams is essential, particularly with the core Infrastructure team in India and US/Canada verification teams.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize automation frameworks for design verification.
- Streamline build flows and manage compute/storage resources.
- Collaborate with global teams to support verification efforts.
- Implement and manage version control and repository structures.
- Develop and maintain hardware build flows using automation tools.
- Create and maintain CI/CD workflows for automated regression and linting.
- Manage job schedulers and optimize storage for simulation environments.
- Utilize project management tools for workflow and metric tracking.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience working autonomously in a technical role.
- 7 years of experience with ASIC EDA and debug tools.
- 7 years of experience in version control and repository management.
- 7 years of experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD workflows.
- 7 years of experience managing compute and storage resources.
- 7 years of experience in web-based development and HTML.
- 7 years of experience with AI-driven log triaging and predictive analysis.
- 7 years of experience with Ruby scripting and SQL for data management.
Skills:
- Proficient in Python, Perl, and Shell scripting.
- Deep understanding of Git and Perforce for version control.
- Experience with Synopsys VCS and Verdi for simulation and analysis.
- Knowledge of GNU Make or similar tools for build automation.
- Familiarity with Jenkins or GitLab CI for continuous integration.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence for project management.
- Basic understanding of SQL for querying regression data.
