Digital IC Design Engineer

Apple is seeking a passionate Digital IC Design Engineer to join our innovative team, where creativity and collaboration drive the development of cutting-edge wireless systems technologies. This role involves crafting sophisticated digital baseband logic designs for state-of-the-art cellular integrated circuits (ICs), enhancing product performance and customer experience globally.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the digital logic design efforts within a silicon design group focused on innovative wireless System on Chips (SoCs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate improved hardware elements into cohesive designs.
• Engage in all aspects of hardware and embedded software development, adapting to evolving project requirements.
• Participate in open discussions to debate ideas and drive innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in logic design using System Verilog, particularly in high-speed and deep sub-micron design.
• Familiarity with design tools for RTL simulation, debugging, synthesis, and timing analysis.

Skills:

• Knowledge of power management techniques for low power design.
• Understanding of control logic intensive designs and AMBA bus protocols.
• Familiarity with PCIe, DMA, and NoC designs.
• Knowledge of security algorithms such as AES.
• Understanding of data-link layers for cellular (MAC/RLC/PDCP), WiFi, or Ethernet.
• Proficiency in C/C++/SystemC modeling.
