GPU RTL Design Engineer

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a GPU Engineer to join its Engineering Group, specifically within GPU ASICS Engineering. The role involves architecting, designing, implementing, verifying, and optimizing GPU cores to enhance performance and power efficiency. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and contribute to Qualcomm's mission of driving digital transformation and creating a smarter, connected future.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize GPU core performance and power.
• Build functional model simulations and develop software to verify graphics correctness and performance goals.
• Program and run graphics tests to assess functionality, performance, and power, identifying issues as needed.
• Collaborate with teams, third-party vendors, and external users to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Develop driver and compiler software to support GPU products.
• Write detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for GPU projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience; OR a PhD in a related field.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of GPU architecture and design principles.
• Experience in software and hardware engineering related to GPU technology.
• Proficiency in programming and testing graphics software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
