Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Specify, design, verify, test, and validate Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs).
  • Involve in all phases of product development from inception to first silicon bring-up and throughout the product life cycle.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers.
  • Generate detailed test plans to ensure performance and functionality.
  • Collaborate early with design teams to implement testability features.
  • Develop cost-efficient and manufacturable test solutions for high-performance analog and mixed-signal ATE platforms.
  • Execute silicon debug, correlation, characterization, yield analysis, and production transfer.
  • Supervise schematic design, layout, component procurement, and assembly of ATE hardware for precision analog amplifiers and mixed-signal ICs.
  • Analyze characterization data using statistical methodologies.
  • Design high-performance test solutions for silicon verification and manufacturing.
  • Define test schematics and collaborate with layout engineers on PCB design.
  • Debug test programs and correlate production test solutions with engineering measurements.
  • Participate in new product development and evaluate new test systems.
  • Work with Design and Systems/Applications teams to implement a Design for Test plan.
  • Manage project schedules aligned with product introduction and release.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, 3-5 years with a master's, or 0-2 years with a PhD in ASIC Hardware Engineering or related.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in integrated circuit design.
  • Understanding of integrated circuits, semiconductors, and computer architecture.
  • Ability to write detailed design specifications.
  • Experience managing small technical teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
