Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate on system architectures and high-speed PCB designs.
- Debug production system problems and deliver effective solutions.
- Analyze existing hardware designs, including CPU/ASIC, power, signal integrity, and optics.
- Work with software and customer teams on high-pressure escalations, identifying bugs and implementing fixes.
- Write scripts for log analysis and live debug sessions.
- Make necessary changes to firmware, schematics, BOM, and fabrication as needed.
- Conduct lab measurements and debugging.
- Collaborate with component, FA, and ODM teams to identify root causes and necessary fixes.
- Identify test escapes and work with the design validation team to enhance testing processes.
- Prepare and present root cause analyses for executives and customers.
Qualifications:
- BSEE or MSEE degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience in hardware engineering
- Experience debugging networking hardware
- Proficient in designing 20+ layer boards with 50G+ signals
- Experience with multi-phase DC/DC debugging for high current loads
- Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe) and low-speed signals (I2C, SPI)
- Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity concepts and tools
- Experience in FPGA design using Verilog

- Strong debugging skills in hardware engineering
