The Senior Power Electronics Test Engineer plays a crucial role in the development and validation of GaN power devices. This position involves designing SALT/HTOL test circuits, analyzing device behavior in power converter circuits, and creating MCU firmware for automated testing. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable long-duration testing while troubleshooting hardware issues and supporting magnetics design. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 7 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 5 years in power electronics, with a Ph.D. preferred. Proficiency in C/C++ firmware development, experience with power converter circuits, and familiarity with schematic/PCB design tools are essential. Strong communication and documentation skills are required, along with a preference for experience in SALT, HTOL, or long-duration reliability testing. This is a 100% onsite role, and applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
