System Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve plan layouts, including new designs and modifications.
• Review and approve product prototypes and theoretical models using computer simulations.
• Write detailed functional specifications and design flow/tradeoff documentation.
• Support new technology introduction and act as a subject matter expert for engineering staff.
• Provide training and support to system designers and users.
• Design and develop hardware and support peripherals, including SoC, microprocessors, and custom integrated circuits.
• Direct technicians and engineering designers as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Experience in high-density rigid/flex board design and system integration.

Skills:

• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering (EE).
• Hands-on lab skills with rapid prototyping.
• Ability to manage projects with ambiguity and multiple paths.
• Understanding of core technology areas such as SoC, sensors, and wireless interfaces.
• Basic knowledge of embedded software and comfort with software logs/code.
• Experience in using automation to improve project quality.
