Job Description:
Northrop Grumman is seeking a talented Engineer Digital FPGA (Level 2) to join the Ground Systems Development Department in Manhattan Beach, CA. This role involves the development and integration of complex electronic test systems and hardware units for space flight programs, contributing to innovative aerospace and defense solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a responsible design engineer (RDE) supporting digital development on programs.
- Design and integrate FPGA and PCB architecture.
- Conduct customer briefings and reviews.
- Perform hardware testing and analysis.
- Collaborate with various engineering functions to meet schedule and technical requirements.
- Develop and present design reviews for internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
- STEM Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of hardware engineering experience; OR a STEM Master's Degree with 0+ years of hardware engineering experience.
- Demonstrated hardware testing experience at the board, unit, or subsystem level.
- Experience in an electronic test environment that verifies specification requirements.
- Previous experience as an electrical engineering hardware designer.
