June 24th – 2026 — Avnet ASIC, a leading provider of ASIC and SoC full turnkey solutions and a business division of Avnet Silica, an Avnet company (NASDAQ: AVT), announced today that it has been selected by RAAAM Memory Technologies, a start-up company that invented GCRAM, the highest density on-chip memory solution in standard CMOS, as its VCA (Value Chain Aggregator) partner for developing and qualifying its GCRAM technology on TSMC’s 2nm process.

As a VCA partner, Avnet ASIC provides access to TSMC’s fabrication processes along with engineering support, production management, and process integration. Avnet has experience in designing and supporting chip production down to the advanced 2nm process.

Avnet ASIC offers technical expertise across the chip development lifecycle, from design enablement to high-volume production. Its team supports customers with tapeout procedures, product management, and supply chain management.

RAAAM’s patented GCRAM technology delivers up to 50% silicon area reduction and up to 10x lower power consumption compared to conventional SRAM, all while maintaining full compatibility with standard CMOS processes. RAAAM, with Avnet ASIC support, is now developing and qualifying its GCRAM technology in 2nm process, which was taped-out on a customer test chip in March 2026.

“We are excited to collaborate with RAAAM and support the next generation of memory innovation,” said Pavel Vilk, GM and Head of Engineering at Avnet ASIC. “Innovative technologies deserve a clear and efficient path to advanced silicon. As a TSMC-certified VCA partner, Avnet ASIC combines design expertise, ecosystem access, and production execution capabilities to help companies like RAAAM accelerate development and successfully bring breakthrough technologies to market.”

“Avnet ASIC’s commitment and expertise in streamlining infrastructure, technology support and PDK environment, were instrumental in the migration of our GCRAM technology to TSMC’s 2nm process,” said Eran Rotem, VP R&D at RAAAM. “This partnership helped us to meet an ambitious tape-out schedule without technical obstacles, a key milestone towards full GCRAM qualification.”
