Senior Controls Engineer

E Tech Group is a leading engineering and system integration firm in the U.S., specializing in IT automation and control solutions for various industries including Life Sciences, Metals & Mining, and Food & Beverage. We are looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to join our team and support the design, deployment, testing, and maintenance of control system projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support project execution from design through implementation.
• Develop and modify design documentation including drawing packages and testing scripts.
• Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs.
• Provide onsite and remote support for system design changes.
• Monitor installation progress and conduct QA/QC on test procedures.
• Adapt to flexible work schedules and travel as needed for client projects.
• Communicate work status updates to management and clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in the control system industry.
• Ability to work independently with an organized approach.
• Basic understanding of control system network topologies.
• Experience with instrumentation calibration and startup.
• Experience commissioning in live environments.
• Willingness to travel 30-50%.

Skills:

• Collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Experience with PLC or DDC controlled data center projects.
• Familiarity with AVEVA Wonderware, FactoryTalk View SE, and A/B Rockwell or Schneider PLCs.
• Experience with Building Management and HVAC Control Systems.
