Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Own test board development end-to-end, including schematic capture, PCB layout review, BOM, bring-up, and debug.
  • Design RF signal paths with attention to impedance matching and high-frequency routing for operation up to 64 GHz.
  • Create low-noise power delivery networks using LDO regulators for sensitive analog and RF environments.
  • Characterize high-speed ADC and DAC devices, measuring SNDR, SFDR, THD, and dynamic range.
  • Measure and interpret S-parameters to validate board signal integrity and RF performance.
  • Integrate FPGA or microcontroller subsystems on test boards for automated testing and data capture.
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts to streamline workflows and regression testing.
  • Collaborate with IC design engineers to define test requirements for new silicon bring-up.
  • Document board designs, test procedures, and characterization results thoroughly.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on PCB design and hardware bring-up experience.
  • Experience characterizing high-speed ADC or DAC devices.
  • Strong knowledge of S-parameters and VNA measurement techniques.
  • RF PCB design experience, including controlled impedance and high-frequency connector design.
  • Experience with low-noise LDO selection and power supply layout best practices.
  • Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout EDA tools.
  • Hands-on experience with bench equipment: VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
  • Experience with JESD204B high-speed serial interface.
