SoC Design and Integration Engineer

Join Apple's Silicon Technologies group as a SOC Design and Integration Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing and manufacturing high-performance, power-efficient processors and system-on-chips (SoCs). Your work will directly impact the functionality of Apple products, enabling millions of customers to enjoy seamless experiences with their devices.

Responsibilities:

• Write microarchitecture and/or design specifications.
• Design, implement, and debug complex logic designs.
• Integrate complex IPs into the SOC.
• Support all front-end integration activities like Lint, CDC, Synthesis, and ECO.
• Collaborate with SOC Design, SOC Design Verification, Emulation, Formal verification, STA, and Physical Design teams.
• Work with software and systems teams to ensure a high-quality end product.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree + 3 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in all aspects of the chip development process.
• Proficiency in front-end tools and methodologies.

Skills:

• Experience writing specifications and converting them to design.
• Experience with multiple clock domains and asynchronous interfaces.
• Experience with AMBA Fabric architecture (AXI, AHB, APB).
• Familiarity with formal verification techniques.
• Knowledge of system architecture, CPU & IP Integration, and power and clock management designs.
• Effective communication skills across internal groups.
• Familiarity with software and operating concepts.
