Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ASIC Design for Test Engineer to join our customer team. This role focuses on the architecture and implementation of Design for Test (DFT) solutions for ASIC designs, ensuring robust test coverage and validation of test patterns.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement Design for Test solutions for block and chip-level ASIC designs.
- Develop test timing constraints and generate test patterns.
- Simulate test patterns and assure appropriate test coverage metrics.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an ASIC engineer.
- BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with relevant coursework in digital/microprocessor design, computer architecture, and VLSI design.
- Experience with Design for Test concepts such as scan, scan compression, MBIST, BSCAN, and macro test development.
- Experience with a range of internal and 3rd-party Design for Test tools.
- Experience with Static Timing Analysis for validating test timing requirements.
- Experience with logic simulation tools for validation of generated test patterns.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Eligibility under ITAR citizenship requirements (U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents).
