Wafer Size

Wafer size in increasing every decade to support the industry demand, the following list describes the various wafer size both in inches and millimeters. The wafer size of new semiconductor processes is 12″ but some foundries have already transformed some of the 8″ fabs to support 12″ to help them provide increased capacity.

• 150 mm = 5.9 inch
• 200 mm = 7.9 inch
• 300 mm =11.8 inch
• 450 mm  = 17.7 inch
