Analog IC Design Engineer [Andover or Ottawa]

Skyworks is seeking a skilled Analog IC Design Engineer to join our innovative team in Andover, MA or Ottawa, Canada. This role involves circuit analysis, design, and verification of analog integrated circuits for next-generation Wi-Fi front-end modules, contributing to the wireless networking revolution.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct circuit analysis and design for analog integrated circuits.
• Lead the development of circuits including FETs, BJTs, LDOs, bandgap circuits, RF detectors, and charge pump circuits.
• Drive analog design innovation and best practices throughout the product development process.
• Interact with designers from multiple sites, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in analog IC design using Silicon/SOI/Bi-CMOS processes.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge in transistor-level design of standard analog blocks.
• Experience in top-level chip integration and understanding of system-level specifications.
• Comprehensive simulation skills in Cadence, including PEX and stability analysis.
• Understanding of ESD protection, noise, crosstalk, and design for manufacturability.
• Familiarity with analog layout best practices and Cadence Virtuoso.
