Job Description:
TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer specializing in technology products, including printed circuit boards (PCBs) and integrated circuits (ICs). The company is seeking a Technical Leader for its Custom Integrated Circuits (CIC) team, focusing on analog, power management, and mixed signal IC development. This role involves overseeing the entire ASIC development process, from design to production, while driving technical strategy and ensuring timely product delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
- Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
- Define module interfaces/formats for simulation and lead multidimensional design development.
- Utilize system tools like Cadence Virtuoso for design, simulation, and verification.
- Write semiconductor specifications for ASICs and perform lab verifications.
- Support the development of test plans for hardware and software in high-volume production.
- Analyze equipment to establish operational data and conduct experimental tests.
- Select testers and vendors, supporting the development team for volume production readiness.
- Drive IC technology strategy and direction, understanding process technology from multiple fabrication facilities.
- Prepare presentations for internal and customer design reviews, providing simulation results and tolerances analysis.
- Provide training and guidance to interns, co-ops, and technicians.
Qualifications:
- Proven success in releasing products to production in analog, power management, and mixed signal IC development.
- Significant experience in leading complex integrated circuit designs and subsystems.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor process technologies and customer specifications.
- Experience in estimating design effort timeframes and managing project schedules.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and presentations.
- Proficient in circuit simulation tools and design software.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
