Staff Test Engineer [Optical Module]

The Optics team at Marvell focuses on developing integrated silicon photonics platforms, managing the entire product lifecycle from design to production testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Test features on silicon semiconductor chips for internal and external customers.
  • Ensure no underperforming units are shipped.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure chip features are testable and meet specifications.
  • Develop production and characterization ATE test programs and hardware.
  • Manage production test programs across various manufacturing sites.
  • Support new product qualification and transfer processes.
  • Identify and drive test cost reduction and yield improvement projects.
  • Align test engineering systems and processes for different manufacturing sites.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with 3+ years of experience, or a Master’s/PhD with 2+ years of experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years in semiconductor test engineering experience.

Skills:

  • Solid background in ATE testing and test methodology.
  • Experience with silicon processes, DFT/DFM, and high-speed digital testing.
  • Microprocessor and Network Processor experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Advantest Test system/software is advantageous.
