Job Description:
Amazon Leo is seeking a Signal Integrity and Power Integrity Engineer to support the development of its low Earth orbit satellite network, aimed at providing reliable internet connectivity to underserved areas. This role involves collaboration across various technical teams to ensure high-quality hardware designs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop SIPI collateral for system integration of advanced technology.
- Define and develop Signal and Power Integrity test methodologies.
- Participate in design reviews and perform SI and PI simulations.
- Provide detailed reports and collaborate with other engineers.
- Validate designs in the lab and maintain high technical standards for hardware designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in signal integrity design and simulation of high-speed interfaces (DDR, Ethernet, JESD, PCIe).
- Hands-on experience with EM SIPI simulation tools (ANSYS, ADS, Hyperlynx, Sigrity).
- Experience using VNAs, oscilloscopes, and high-fidelity probing techniques.
- Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools (Mentor Xpedition preferred).
Skills:
- Experience in PDN design, simulation, and lab validation for power integrity.
- Demonstrated design innovation in complex board design.
- Experience with silicon and package-level signal and power integrity analysis.
