MTS ASIC Design Engineer

Micron Technology is seeking a seasoned professional to lead end-to-end SSD controller project execution, ensuring alignment across multi-functional teams and driving technical decision-making. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SoC development and a strong background in storage systems.

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end SSD controller project execution from architecture definition to production release.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams including IP design, firmware, validation, and system teams to ensure alignment.
• Define and track project plans, achievements, and risks, proactively identifying issues and driving mitigation plans.
• Drive technical decision-making for SSD controller features, including PCIe/NVMe and NAND interfaces.
• Manage execution readiness, including specs, reviews, silicon debug, and customer enablement.
• Communicate project status clearly to leadership with data-driven updates on progress and risks.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in SoC development with experience leading silicon programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to work with cross-functional groups and communicate effectively with executive and engineering teams.

Skills:

• Strong collaboration skills with multi-functional teams.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence-based execution flows.
• Excellent documentation and training skills.
