Job Description:

This position is within the Silicon Architecture team of the FPGA Division, focusing on developing future FPGA device products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate high-performance IP into Microchip FPGA products.
- Engage in ASIC & FPGA IP development, integration, and deployment for various components such as PCIe, DDR, and High-Speed Serial Transceivers.
- Understand customer use models and the role of IP in system architecture.
- Work with architects, designers, and back-end implementation teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or Physics.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in programmable architectures or applications implementation.
- Practical experience in ASIC & FPGA IP development, including synthesis, constraint management, and timing closure.
Skills:
- Ability to work cross-functionally with architects and designers.
- Knowledge of system-level performance modeling in TLM/SystemC.
- Experience with Synopsys & Cadence ASIC flows.
- Scripting skills in Perl, Python, or Tcl.
