Ericsson Inc. is seeking a motivated Entry Level ASIC ESV Content Developer to join their SW/FW Development Team in Austin, TX. This role focuses on coding to validate and debug ASIC hardware, contributing to Ericsson's leadership in 5G and 6G technologies. Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and test ASIC device drivers and test cases using C/C++ in the Zephyr RTOS framework.
  • Create framework and infrastructure components in Python for automated test environments.
  • Assess and visualize ASIC test case coverage to identify quality improvement areas.
  • Participate in hands-on lab testing and proof-of-concept work to verify code and test coverage improvements.
  • Engage in technical discussions to resolve issues and contribute to scalable testing frameworks.
  • Propose technical innovations to enhance validation processes and methodologies.
  • Build relationships with ASIC architects to define coverage plans and debug issues.

Qualifications:

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in C/C++ and Python, particularly in hardware and embedded software projects.

Skills:

  • Strong coding standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with GIT and integrated development environments (IDEs).
  • Exposure to Unix/Linux systems and basic bash scripting.
  • Hands-on lab work experience, including Linux-based system management and test platform setup.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and technically curious, able to work independently.
