Job Description:

Texas Instruments (TI) is seeking an Analog IC Design Engineer to join their team in Dallas, TX. This role involves leading an Analog IC design team, focusing on product ownership from definition to manufacturing. The engineer will work on innovative solutions for consumer electronics, mobile computing, and communications, contributing to TI's mission of developing breakthrough technology for future innovations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead an Analog IC design team with product ownership from definition to release to manufacturing.
  • Direct and participate in the design, development, modification, and evaluation of electronic parts and integrated circuits.
  • Assign tasks to team members, provide design guidance, develop schedules, and monitor project progress.
  • Evaluate project results during the design phase and silicon evaluation to ensure technical objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with physical designers and monitor IC layout progress.
  • Work with Design Verification teams to ensure completion of technical tasks before production.
  • Prepare product briefs, datasheets, and application notes in collaboration with systems and application engineers.
  • Collaborate with validation, product engineering, and test engineering teams for successful production transfer.
  • Interface with customers and TI field teams to understand designs and provide support.
  • Participate in hiring, developing, and evaluating personnel for organizational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Over 7 years of Analog Design experience.
  • Experience as a Chip lead or Analog design lead.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of signal processing and analog design principles.
  • Expertise in analog/mixed-signal circuit design, including transistor-level design and simulation.
  • Knowledge of CMOS device physics and design for test.
  • Problem-solving skills, including silicon debug.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across different functions.
  • Demonstrated leadership in technical teams and project management.
