ATE Lead Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Engineer with over 10 years of experience in test system software and hardware development, particularly in the aerospace and avionics sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing equipment for mixed-signal products and sub-assemblies, with a focus on MIL/Aerospace applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and upgrade automated test equipment for production testing of mixed-signal products.
• Integrate third-party hardware with NI PXI and PCI hardware.
• Manage software code repositories and implement Continuous Integration/Deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate new test systems, ensuring compliance with MIL-STD and other relevant standards.
• Conduct failure analysis and testing in a production environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in test system software and hardware development.

Skills:

• Expertise in NI LabVIEW, Test Stand, and Python.
• Strong knowledge of common I/O protocols (I2C, SPI, JTAG, etc.).
• Experience with RS422/RS232, ARINC, AFDX, TCP/IP, and Ethernet communication standards.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills with test bench equipment such as multimeters, DAQs, and oscilloscopes.
