Job Description:

Team Credo is seeking a High-Speed Transceiver Application Engineer to enhance semiconductor technologies through innovative design and testing. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct system-level tests for functional regression coverage and performance validation across various protocols and use-case scenarios.
  • Develop automation scripts for test execution, data collection, and analysis using Python or similar programming languages.
  • Perform environmental and reliability stress testing, including thermal cycling, voltage margining, and soak tests.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive resolutions.
  • Support platform bring-up, firmware validation, and vendor qualification for high-speed modules.
  • Contribute to DSP bring-up and tuning, including writing low-level code for signal processing and link optimization.
  • Debug signal integrity and link performance issues using VNA, BERT, and oscilloscopes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with high-speed transceivers such as QSFP-DD, OSFP, AEC, and related lab instruments (e.g., oscilloscope, BERT, VNA).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
  • Passion for high-speed signaling, system-level validation, and continuous learning.
  • Familiarity with DSP architecture and ability to write bring-up and tuning code.
