Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a senior technical leader guiding the evolution of capabilities across SoCs.
  • Own the hardware architecture throughout the full lifecycle of SoC products.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development to identify impactful use cases.
  • Work with technical teams (Design, Verification, Physical Design, Systems, Software) to deliver new SoC architecture features.
  • Conduct performance analyses of architectural features and applications, evaluating power-performance-area trade-offs.
  • Apply domain expertise in areas such as Embedded CPU Subsystems, PCIe Interconnect, and Data Network Switching.
  • Author detailed architecture specifications and define validation plans.
  • Participate in industry workgroups like PCI-SIG, CXL, and OCP.
  • File patent applications for novel technologies developed within architectures.
  • Provide post-silicon production support with silicon debug and customer documentation.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience with a Master’s degree, or 10+ years with a PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication.
  • Proven track record of delivering ASIC product architectures and documentation.
  • Experience guiding design and verification teams in ASIC product implementation.
  • Solid understanding of industry-standard interconnect protocols.

Skills:

  • Exceptional creativity and problem-solving ability in architectural solutions.
  • Extensive experience in ARM CPU subsystem architecture.
  • Good knowledge of ASIC security, including root-of-trust and data encryption.
