Job Description:
Join a pioneering team of neuroscientists and engineers at Afference, where we are developing innovative technology for the spatial computing era. Our focus is on creating artificial tactile sensations through mobile and wearable devices that enhance user interaction with digital content and health information.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and verification of ASIC chips.
- Collaborate with product teams to align ASIC design with customer requirements.
- Coordinate communication with external semiconductor fabrication houses.
- Participate in cross-functional teams for project planning and delivery.
- Contribute to vendor evaluation for ASIC design and manufacturing.
- Engage in testing and verification activities to ensure ASIC quality.
- Troubleshoot design issues in collaboration with senior engineers.
- Align ASIC development goals with organizational strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with a focus on solid-state fabrication.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ASIC design, testing, or verification.
Skills:
- Familiarity with chip testing and verification methodologies.
- Board layout experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
