Job Description:
The ASIC/SoC Design & Verification Engineer role focuses on stress-testing AI systems through adversarial evaluation, ensuring robust defenses against potential attacks. This remote position involves crafting attack scenarios, documenting failures, and collaborating with the safety team to enhance AI model security before deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Design adversarial prompts targeting known weaknesses such as jailbreaks and policy bypasses.
- Document successful attacks with reproduction steps and the violated policy clause.
- Score model defenses in both single-turn and multi-turn conversations.
- Triage new attack vectors and communicate severity ratings to the safety team.
- Maintain a library of attack patterns and suggest new red-team rubrics.
- Collaborate with the red-team cohort to ensure consistent coverage and severity ratings.
Qualifications:
- Experience in red-teaming AI systems, security research, or adversarial machine learning.
- Strong written communication skills for effective reporting.
- Ability to navigate policy-grey areas with thorough documentation.
- Familiarity with prompt-injection, jailbreak, and policy-bypass taxonomies.
- Availability for at least 10 hours per week.
