FPGA Development Engineer, Bespoke Solutions

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an FPGA Development Engineer to join their team in Arlington, VA, focusing on developing high-speed digital logic and scalable FPGA systems. This role is part of AWS's expansion, which includes significant investments in infrastructure and job creation. The ideal candidate will possess a Secret security clearance and will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and enhance customer experiences through advanced technology.

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom RTL and integrate with third-party libraries to create end-to-end 100G+ solutions.
• Collaborate with design and system engineers to architect new solutions for customers.
• Own the interface between software and hardware by developing drivers and providing software examples.
• Participate in design meetings to plan development and review peer designs.
• Identify new opportunities and technologies to improve customer experience and add features.

Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or equivalent.

Skills:

• Experience in developing programmable logic on advanced FPGAs.
• Proficiency in RTL development and debugging.
• Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Knowledge of hardware and software integration.
• Ability to synthesize and implement designs meeting timing and performance requirements.
