Hardware Design Engineer 3

InterImage is looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to enhance our technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in microelectronics design, including ASIC, FPGA, and SoC development, along with a strong foundation in digital logic and analog circuits.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ASIC/FPGA/SoC microelectronics.
• Conduct simulation, verification, and debugging of designs.
• Utilize HDL coding (Verilog/VHDL) for hardware design.
• Apply knowledge of computer architecture and semiconductor physics in projects.
• Engage in physical ASIC design and fabrication, including place and route tools.
• Use commercial software tools (Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Synopsys) for circuit schematics and design verification.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Twelve (12) years of experience as a Hardware Design Engineer in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design or reverse engineering.
• Current TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.

Skills:

• Proficiency in HDL coding (Verilog/VHDL).
• Strong understanding of digital logic and analog circuits.
• Knowledge of computer architecture and semiconductor physics.
• Familiarity with physical ASIC design and fabrication processes.
• Experience with commercial software tools for circuit design and simulation.
