Job Description:
NVIDIA is looking for experienced ASIC Infrastructure engineers to enhance the tooling and environment for DV and RTL Design, impacting various product lines including GPUs, AI, self-driving cars, and supercomputers. The role focuses on improving the hardware design environment to ensure seamless operation at a global scale, allowing hardware designers to concentrate on their core tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy AI toolsets at scale in secure configurations for HW Design teams.
- Utilize ML/DL/AI techniques to automate Infrastructure tasks and boost Design team productivity.
- Enhance the speed, flexibility, and extensibility of the GPU front-end build flow.
- Maintain the GPU Continuous Integration system with cutting-edge source management methodologies.
- Guide compute farm, filer, and network topology requirements at cloud scale.
- Deploy and improve compute farm technologies like containers, volume cloning, and distributed storage.
- Forecast HW Design compute resource and EDA needs, reporting to the CFO’s office.
- Implement tracking metrics to resolve operational issues and enhance design productivity.
- Apply information security methods for HW design.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in processes.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Perl, or other Systems Programming languages; OO design preferred.
- Experience with AI tools for development and automation.
- Familiarity with Make-based build systems in large, distributed computing environments.
- Experience with Continuous Integration pipelines and pre-submit verification flows, e.g., using Jenkins.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
