Join Amazon's Device Design Team, where innovation meets technology to create the future of software and hardware experiences powered by Alexa. As a Front End Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and operating web services and tools that enhance design methodology and delivery across various product lines.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design studio with technical expertise in consumer software experiences.
- Design, build, and operate web services and tooling to advance design methodology.
- Interface with teams across multiple product lines and disciplines.
- Translate user requirements into actionable architecture and contribute code.
- Work autonomously to deliver results in ambiguous environments, particularly for v1 products.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional front end, web or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- 5+ years of experience creating prototypes or wireframes for enterprise web applications or workflows.
- Experience with MVC/MVM frameworks such as React.JS, AngularJS, or Vue.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
