Responsibilities:

  • Design and verify high-speed interfaces for next-generation storage subsystems, including NVMe and Chiplet technologies.
  • Lead team efforts across multi-functional teams from RTL development to silicon bring-up.
  • Own critical high-speed interface IP and drive methodology improvements, including AI-assisted design flows.
  • Mentor engineers to ensure first-pass silicon success.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in ASIC design with deep knowledge of PCIe logic design and integration.
  • Experience debugging RTL using Verdi/VCS and automating tasks with Python or Perl.
  • Proficient in SystemVerilog/Verilog for RTL development and microarchitecture definition.
  • Experience with Clock Domain Crossing (CDC), timing closure, and synthesis flows.

Skills:

  • Experience with PCIe (Gen4/5/6) architecture, including TLP/FLIT pipelines, flow control, and performance tuning.
  • Proven experience with link training, power states (L0/L0P/L1/L2), and error handling (AER).
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, driving collaboration with software/system teams from RTL development to silicon bring-up.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design flows is a plus.
