Job Description:

The company aims to revolutionize satellite technology for various missions, leveraging advancements in heavy-lift launch vehicles and cutting-edge engineering to create high-performance spacecraft capable of operating in extreme environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance, high-speed ADC and DAC architectures.
  • Architect and implement low-jitter, low-power PLLs and frequency synthesizers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement circuits and sub-systems.
  • Drive full lifecycle design including specification, modeling, schematic design, and validation.
  • Optimize designs for power, area, and performance in advanced FinFET nodes.
  • Maintain design documentation and support post-silicon bring-up and characterization.
  • Support products through production and spaceflight.
  • Act as a technical leader and mentor within the team.

Qualifications:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on analog/mixed-signal IC design.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Hands-on experience in high-speed ADC/DAC designs with a deep understanding of architectures and performance metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of PLL design principles and jitter analysis.
  • Understanding of FinFET CMOS process characteristics and layout considerations.
  • Proficient in EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and behavioral modeling tools.

Skills:

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with RF transceiver architectures and digital calibration techniques.
  • Experience with tape-out in advanced FinFET nodes.
  • Knowledge of building block circuits like bandgaps and op-amps.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
