Principal Engineer, Analog IC Design

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect high-performance analog circuits including PLLs, Data Converters, Oscillators, and high-speed SerDes blocks.
• Lead projects and manage design processes.
• Supervise analog layouts using advanced process nodes.
• Create circuit design specifications and conduct system verification.
• Support silicon bring-up and debugging efforts.
• Facilitate team communication and maintain documentation.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• 6+ years of experience in analog circuit design.

Skills:

• Strong fundamentals in analog design and experience with circuit blocks like PLLs and high-speed SerDes.
• Proficiency in analog design and verification tools such as Virtuoso, Spectre, and ADE.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, noise reduction, and low-jitter clock generation.
• Understanding of analog layouts in FinFet technology and its implications for high-speed designs.
• Experience in system-level pre-tape out analog validation and lab chip debugging.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Technical management experience is a plus.
